Free Online Sobriety Support for YOU

Every Saturday at 3:00 pm pacific/6:00pm eastern, we here at Believe Detox Center host a free online sobriety support group for you. Whether you are alumni or not, we want to make sure that anyone who needs group support can have access. The national institute on drug abuse listed in the article below:
https://nida.nih.gov/publications/drugs-brains-behavior-science-addiction/treatment-recovery. People who attend support groups in recovery or those who are struggling with addiction, find higher rates of success when it comes to sobriety when they attend groups consistently.

Support groups provide emotional support, reduce feelings of isolation, and offer practical advice on coping with cravings, triggers and more. Check out the National Library of Medicine’s website and a specific writing that gives more insight as to why support groups in recovery are needed below:

Our process groups are led by a certified peer specialist and there is time allotted for one on one support whenever individuals that attend need additional one on one insight. Why do we believe it’s important for our groups to be led by certified peer specialists who are successful in their recovery? Check out what the National Alliance on Mental Illness says about having peer support specialists lead groups for those who need sobriety or recovery support.

Our sobriety support group is here for everyone. It does not matter if you’ve ever come to Believe Detox for treatment or not. It does not matter if you have sober time or if you’re contemplating taking that first step into sobriety, you are invited. Not just you; your family and loved ones are invited as well because we understand the importance of supporting the loved ones of those impacted by addiction as well. Hayzelden Betty Ford explained in detail why it’s important to support the family of those struggling with substance use disorder. The article is below:
